Apparently, in the last few years, ticket prices at The Anfield have skyrocketed causing mass dissatisfaction amongst Liverpool fans who don’t think it is fair that they have to pay so much to see their team play.
In Liverpool’s 1-0 Premier league win against Stoke City earlier today, the kop put up this banner protesting the hike in ticket prices.
One might argue that with players like Balotelli, Coutinho and Sturridge, Liverpool may have to increase ticket fees especially having spent so much on transfers in the summer. But from a Liverpool fan’s point of view, after paying so much to watch my team play, the least I would expect is that they challenge for the league title.
